Returns & Refunds Policy

Riders and Machines


1. Introduction

At Riders and Machines, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all orders placed via our website and mail order services.

This policy is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.


2. Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind, you may return your item within 14 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in a resaleable condition

  • All items must be returned in their original packaging

  • All labels, tags, and protective films must remain intact

  • Proof of purchase is required

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Please note:
Personalised, special-order, or bespoke items cannot be returned unless faulty.


3. How to Return an Item

To arrange a return:

  1. Email us with your order number and reason for return

  2. Securely package the item in its original packaging

  3. Send the item back to us using a tracked service

Customers are responsible for returned items until they are received by us. We strongly recommend retaining proof of postage.


4. Return Postage Costs

  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer for change-of-mind returns

  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable

  • If an item is faulty or incorrect, return postage will be refunded once confirmed


5. Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days

  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method

  • Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund


6. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in line with UK consumer law. Where a fault is confirmed, we will cover reasonable return postage costs.


7. Exchanges

We are happy to offer exchanges, subject to stock availability.

  • Any price difference must be paid before dispatch

  • If the replacement item is of lower value, a refund will be issued for the difference


8. Condition of Returns

Returned items must be fit for resale. Items showing signs of use, wear, or damage may be rejected or refunded at a reduced amount.


9. Policy Limitations

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse returns outside the stated return period

  • Refuse returns that do not meet the conditions outlined above

  • Decline responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit
